This is an award winning hat. It has been made for the Mad Hatters Society 2022 annual hatmaking competition, where I become second finalist. It's inspired by the beautiful English gardens after the rain. Entirely hand made from 100% raw silk and silk painted butterfly, using batik technique. Pale powdery blue flowers fixed with glass beads over buckram base. Overall diameter 17 cm to fit any head size.
